That Bad Bitch

Oh Boy! I just don’t know what to think. TI and Tiny were arrested last night for possession of a controlled substance. According to TMZ, County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM after they made an illegal U-turn. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tiny. It has been established that the controlled substance is ecstasy. TI is still on probation from his gun conviction. This could be a violation of his probation which could have him sent back to prison.

I guess when Tiny said for better or for worse she really meant it. I’m just so disappointed in TI though. After all those lectures he gave at schools and then having the number one movie this weekend. This just sucks major balls. They were released at 4.ooam after which Tiny tweeted:

Monetta Shaw is pregnant with Ne-Yo’s child. She should be giving birth in January of next year. Ne-Yo recently gave an interview to Cleveland’s 107.9 Radio Station. I don’t even know where to begin. I understand that men are scared of marriage. But shouldn’t you be more scared of having a baby with someone you are not ready to marry? Just seems like such a disconnect. If I were her I’d feel really disrespected, best friend or not. Anyway, here’s a bit of what he had to say:

I am not engaged to be married but I am about to have my first child. I was never engaged. I’m having a child with my best friend on the face of the planet. She’s a beautiful person and yes, we’re about to have a baby. We are not engaged, we have never been engaged.

I think Essence is trying to make up for the time when they featured Reggie Bush in their “Black Men, Love and Relationships” issue (he was dating a non-black woman, Kim Kardashian at the time). I think it’s time for men to stop justifying who they are in love with. I could care less who you’re sleeping with. I just want to see you with your shirt off

Congratulations to Ms. Natasha Metto who will be Kenya’s representative to the Miss World 2010 pageant set to be held in Sanya, China. The final will be on 30th October. Natasha is really pretty but I hate that they insist on using this picture of her because the weave is just horrible. I say this only because I’ve been wearing weaves continuously for the last 3 years (sssshhhh) and I know she can get it done very well in Nairobi, and quite cheaply too. I’m rooting for her though and I wish my vote counted

This year they decided to have the Miss Kenya event done in a reality TV show set up. I will confess that I missed every single episode. Therefore, I have no idea what competition Natasha was up against. I was a bit curious about what she should expect in China. So I have a few pics of various contestants mainly from Africa who will be representing their countries, and a few others who can be considered black. Pics after the break.

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, something comes up to make you wonder whether there is a scientific anomaly where people are born without brains. A 40 year old Atlanta woman, Michelle Fonville, recently faced a discriminatory price increase at a nail salon in Atlanta. If you’ve lived in the US then you know that most nail parlours are owned by Koreans. This particular one, called Natural Nails is managed by a lady called Kim Tan. Natural Nails claims they were worried that their expensive massage chairs might break, so they charged Michelle an additional five dollars because she is overweight.

Michelle Fonville, 40, said that she was “humiliated” when she discovered she had been overcharged because of her weight and left the salon in tears:

We all saw this coming. Elin would have been stupid to stay. Tiger and Elin reached a settlement agreement way back at the beginning of July — July 3rd and 4th. The final judgment papers state that the marriage “is hereby dissolved because it is irretrievably broken.” The terms of the divorce settlement were not released to the public, but it is speculated that Elin will receive anywhere from $100 million to five times that amount in assets. Elin has also been granted her request to have her maiden name restored — Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren. You can keep your name Tiger! The two will have joint custody of their kids, ages three and one. Both Tiger and Elin have each completed a 4-hour parenting course.

Ciara tweeted the above pic about a week ago with the caption “I love my new Chanel sandals!” I’m absolutely in love with them too! They look a bit difficult to walk in though. But who cares as long as they look divine! They feature a large Chanel engraved pearl. They are available for $450 plus depending on where you buy them. I’ve always wondered how celebrities always seem to have a private jet at their disposal, even when they don’t seem to have the finances necessary to own one. Well, the mystery is solved people. It’s something called fractional ownership.

NetJets, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, offers fractional ownership and rental of private business jets. With fractional jets, customers (referred to as “owners”) buy a “share” of a plane, rather than an entire plane. The price is pro-rated from the market price of a full aircraft. Owners then have guaranteed access (50-400 hours annually or a certain number of days of the year, depending on share size) to that plane with as little as four hours’ notice. Fractional owners pay a monthly maintenance fee and an “occupied” hourly operating fee. Usually the latter is charged only when an owner or guest is on board, not when the plane is flying to a pick up point, or returning to base after completing a mission.

I love DRAMA!!! Back in the day, I loved Xscape. They were like a symbol of girl power even before the Spice Girls madness. Kick off your shoes, relax your feet, party on down to the Xscape beat, just kickin’… That was my jam! Then they just disappeared. Until a few years ago when Tamika Scott gave an interview on radio saying Kandi slept with producer Jermaine Dupri and the group basically went to pieces. Popular radio host Angela Yee recently interviewed Kandi who confirmed that the incident did happen but she insists that she did not break up the group.
