Ciara tweeted the above pic about a week ago with the caption “I love my new Chanel sandals!” I’m absolutely in love with them too! They look a bit difficult to walk in though. But who cares as long as they look divine! They feature a large Chanel engraved pearl. They are available for $450 plus depending on where you buy them. If I find a store in Nairobi that sells them I will forever be a loyal customer. More pics after the break.

Beyonce is not the only celeb hustling for their clothing line. Nelly is in the Fall/Holiday 2010 Lookbook for his clothing line, Apple Bottom Jeans. Remember when rapper Nelly dropped Country Grammar? You wouldn’t have been able to convince me that he’d fall off so hard. You rarely ever hear anything about him these days.  I don’t know why I’ve never been drawn to his clothes. Just don’t feel right. Nelly is also keeping himself busy as a radio presenter for St. Louis’s Hot 104.1 FM. He will be filling in for another radio jock who is on maternity leave. The gig will last about a month. How the mighty have fallen.

Beyonce’s Fall 2010 Dereon Clothing and Bedding Campaign is the ultimate embodiment of what it means to be Sasha Fierce. Beyonce looks fantastic! I admit when Dereon first came out, their style seemed ghetto which I wasn’t too happy about. But lately they seem to be stepping up their game. I blame all the bad choices on Mama Tina. Louis Brown Suede w/Rhinestones Black Sneakers ($2,495)

I confess I am one of those girls who look at a man’s shoes before I notice anything else (Number 2 on the list is eyelashes sssshhhh). So far I haven’t really seen sneakers for men that really stand out. Usually I see Vans and Nikes…you know, the usual. Christian Louboutin is changing that. Cameroonian photographer Mario Epanya went all out in his campaign to make Vogue Africa a reality. In order to get publisher Conde Nast to see the potential in the magazine–that would pay homage to African women–he created fictional covers, featuring gorgeous images, but it looks like it wasn’t enough. Conde Nast has turned down Epanya’s bid for the magazine.

I am furious! So Africa is not good enough to have its own Vogue edition according to Conde Nast. We need an African magazine with uniquely African stories. So if they won’t help us, I say we do it ourselves. Viva Africa!

Elle.com caught up with Kelly Rowland and she gave them an inside peek at what she has in her wardrobe. I think Kelly has really grown into her own. She looks absolutely stunning and proves that you do not have to bare it all to look sexy. Out of the 10 outfits she modeled for them, I like this one best. It’s a simple white Hervé Léger dress. Rihanna debuted her new look on Saturday night when she performed at the Rock in Rio show in Madrid which was streamed LIVE on Justin TV. I think I’m so over Rihanna… This new do does nothing for me really. The outfit though was a bit shocking. More pics after the jump.

Okay so maybe I’m being a bit dramatic. But look what she did to that beautiful Hermes Birkin bags!!! That should be illegal! I know once you have all the money in the world, you feel like you can do anything under the sky. But my thing is, why is she messing with someone else’s creativity? How about she starts her own line and goes crazy with the black marker and studs…

The fashion world just had a heart attack—again. It wasn’t enough for Lady Gaga to stop hearts when she scribbled on her white Hermès Birkin with a black marker. This time, the pop singer has been photographed toting around a haphazardly studded Birkin. In an industry where the Birkin is worshipped and the five-figure bags often have a waitlist, this is tantamount to sacrilege.

Ciara took advantage of her Wilhelmina modeling contract in a spread for the new issue of French Vogue. The images were shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott; styled by the Creative Director of Givenchy. I think she should just quit the music thing and focus on modeling. Alek Wek makes an appearance in The Financial Times’ monthly luxury magazine, How To Spend It, wearing prints styled by Damian Foxe. Photographed by Andrew Yee, the Sudanese model makes a striking subject as she models looks from the likes of Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Etro.
